Investigators say the disabled driver who police say is responsible for the deaths of three people may be hiding in Brampton.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old Jogpreet Singh of Kingston, who is wanted on multiple charges following a fatal crash in Seguin, about 23 kilometers south of Parry Sound.

The crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on July 20, with OPP saying police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Tally Ho-Swords Road in Seguin.

The crash killed three people, including 33-year-old Vivek Aggarwal, who had just arrived in Canada months before the crash and was attending school in Brampton, according to a fundraiser that raised money for the victim’s family.

A. GoFundMe account raised over $7,000 Aggarwal’s family said he was a passenger in the vehicle and his death “devastated” their friend.

Singh was arrested and charged following the fatal crash and appeared in court on July 29, but police said the accused did not appear in court. Police said Singh was known to travel frequently to Kingston and Brampton and investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.
