Three people taken to hospital after stabbing in south-east London

Three people were taken to hospital following a stabbing in south-east London, police said.

Emergency services were called to Purneys Road, Eltham, shortly before 1pm on Sunday following reports that three men had been stabbed.

The Metropolitan Police said no arrests had been made and the scene was ready.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) said air ambulance and paramedics also attended and first medical responders arrived within six minutes.

He added: “We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in rapid response cars, an incident response officer and the London Air Ambulance.

“The first of our team arrived in six minutes.

“Our team treated three male patients at the scene before transporting them primarily by road to London’s major trauma centres.”

The Met said it was awaiting an update on their condition.
