Suspected drunk driver hit two teenagers

QUINCY – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash in the 8500 block of Road T-Northwest Monday night, according to a statement from GCSO.

Two Quincy teens were seriously injured when they were hit by a suspected drunk driver. Two 13-year-old boys were walking on the side of the road when a 2006 Honda Accord rear-ended them. The vehicle was driven by Rene Dominguez Molina, 25, of Quincy. The vehicle left the road and crashed into the ditch and the mailbox.

The children suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to Confluence Health Center Campus in Wenatchee.

Dominquez Molina was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and two counts of vehicular assault. He was sent to Grant County Jail. The Grant County Sheriff’s Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
