A car owner in China was shocked to learn that the second-hand Tesla Model 3 he bought for 101,000 yuan (US$14,000) would not be charged, and protested by dragging it down the street pulled by an ox.

Many netizens were stunned by the reaction of an unidentified man from Weifang in China’s northern Shandong province, who recently purchased a white Tesla Model 3 Performance through the famous used car platform Guazi.

According to Tesla’s official website in China, the current price of the same model in China starts from 335,900 yuan.

However, after driving the vehicle, he discovered that the car had displayed a warning stating that it could not be charged, leading him to suspect battery failure.

It is unclear how the vehicle was delivered and whether the owner tested it before finalizing the purchase.

Having failed to reach an agreement with Guazi and Tesla, the frustrated car owner resorted to tying Tesla to an ox and parading him through the streets in protest, hoping to draw public attention to his situation and seek justice.
