allegations It comes in the wake of the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) accusation that the former Delhi chief minister was attacked during his padayatra in West Delhi’s Vikaspuri.

“I went to Vikaspuri yesterday and they attacked me with their men. Do you want to kill me? If you dare, contest the elections against me,” Kejriwal was quoted as saying at a campaign rally by ANI.

Targeting the BJP further, he added that it was not greedy for power or the position of the prime minister.

“You (BJP) have governments in 22 states, I built 500 mohalla clinics in Delhi, you should have built 5000 clinics too… I am not greedy for power. “I have left the post of CM, I am not worried about whether I will come back, I am worried about Delhi’s business not stopping.”

He also told the crowd: “…You don’t have to pay the water bill. Make me CM again and I will waive water bills.”

Claim from AAP to BJP

AAP leaders accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of masterminding the incident in Vikaspuri and warned that the party would be held responsible if any harm came to Kejriwal.

However, the party has not yet released a video regarding the alleged attack. The police also said that they had not received any formal complaint from the AAP.

In a press conference on Saturday, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh alleged that Kejriwal was attacked by “BJP goons” while he was campaigning in Vikaspuri district.

“Police complicity in the incident clearly indicates a deep conspiracy to kill Kejriwal. Singh claimed that the BJP has become the enemy of his life.

When asked why a formal complaint was not lodged with the police, Singh stated that it was the duty of the police to investigate the incident. Stating that AAP is currently seeking legal advice for further steps, he said: “The police may take notice of the incident and carry out their investigation.”

The BJP rejected AAP’s allegations, claiming that Kejriwal was only facing protests from locals who were unhappy with the dirty water supply in their homes.
