Greensburg man wanted for allegedly raping teenager

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Greensburg man accused of raping a teenager.

Kentell Sims, 34, is wanted on charges of first-degree rape, juvenile indecency and sexual assault, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office was reportedly notified of an alleged crime involving a teenager in the Amite area earlier this month.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies issued a warrant for Sims’ arrest, and although he remained in contact with detectives, he refused to surrender.
