MT Højgaard Holding A/S: MT Højgaard Danmark receives new order for E45 expansion | 20.12.24

MT Højgaard Holding’s business unit, MT Højgaard Danmark, has been awarded a major construction order by the Danish Highways Authority with a contract value of DKK 568 million. The order covers the widening of the E45 motorway near Hedensted, where new lanes will be installed in both directions for a distance of six kilometres.

The order underlines that MT Højgaard Danmark continues to expand its activities in the field of construction works and infrastructure. The business unit is interested, among other things, in two other major contracts on the E45 motorway near Aarhus and Hedensted.

Work will begin in March 2025 and be completed in spring 2027.

The new order does not affect MT Højgaard Holding’s 2024 outlook, which remains unchanged with expected revenues of around DKK 10.5 billion and operating profit (EBIT) of DKK 475-495 million.
