Tirunelveli news: A man was hacked to death by a four-member gang at Palayamkottai court in Tirunelveli on Friday morning. The murder took place when the man, identified as Mayandi, was waiting to attend a hearing into the murder of a local panchayat vice president.

On Friday, the gang ambushed Mayandi while waiting for the judge to arrive. Trying to escape, he ran towards the court door, but the attackers knocked him down. They then hacked him repeatedly with sickles.

Reports indicate that Mayandi had previously survived two murder attempts, raising concerns about escalating violence linked to local disputes.

I strongly condemn Mr. Stalin, who has no administrative skills and disregards the law. To the extent that the criminals have no fear of the law or the state police protecting it.” To maintain law and order, I urge the CM of the DMK-led government to arrest all those involved in the above crimes and initiate appropriate legal action and shift focus on photo shoots and partisanship. turned politics into its primary duty of maintaining law and order.”
