CNN’s Scott Jennings rips Biden’s handlers for hiding ‘scandal of epic proportions’ over his downfall

Republican pundit Scott Jennings called it a “scandal of epic proportions” that White House aides tried to conceal President Joe Biden’s limitations during the 82-year-old Biden’s term in office.

The Wall Street Journal is out on Thursday, with an extensive report detailing how Biden’s team hired a vocal coach to improve Biden’s “dying hum.”

Top aides have been placed in roles usually reserved for the president, as aides have canceled meetings about Biden’s “bad days” and even kept him away from Cabinet appointees and Democratic allies in Congress.

“This is the biggest scandal in America,” Jennings commented on CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip on Thursday night. ‘And the level and volume of people dedicating themselves to lying to everyone in the house about this man’s condition for four years this summer is breathtaking.’

Jennings said it was a “fair” question: ‘Who runs this country?’

“And as I said before, if you’re concerned about the influence of Donald Trump’s advisors over the last four years, it appears that this president was duly elected, but this president was not capable of performing the duties of the office,” Jenning continued.

‘And his team and the White House lied about it and hid it from the American people,’ the GOP pundit claimed. ‘What happened is a complete scandal.’

The White House has pushed back on the allegation that there was a widespread cover-up.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates told the Journal that Biden ‘has achieved the most success among modern commanders-in-chief because of his attention to policy details that affect millions of lives and rebuilding the middle class.’

Bates also dismissed the idea that Biden did.

But the American public took notice in a dramatic way when Biden took the stage next to now-President-elect Donald Trump during the match in Atlanta, Georgia, at the end of June.

Biden’s disastrous debate performance was the beginning of the end of his reelection campaign, and he dropped out of the race less than a month later.

But there were also earlier signs; For example, when it will happen. Special Advisor Robert Hur published a report last year It depicts a forgetful and weak person who was 81 years old at the time.

Hur decided not to charge Biden with keeping classified documents in his garage in Delaware because, he wrote, the president would likely present himself to the jury as a “sympathetic, well-intentioned old man with a short memory.”

Behind the scenes, Biden couldn’t remember the lines his team had discussed with him going into the interview, the Journal reported.

When Biden was doing public events where most people would clearly see them — such as where to enter and exit the stage — instructions had to be repeated frequently.

During campaign events, Trump often mocked Biden for disappearing from the stage.

“Look, there’s a scene here,” Trump said at a campaign event in September 2012. “I’ve never seen this stupid scene before, I’ve never seen it before.” But if I walk left there is a staircase. If I walk to the right there is a staircase. And this man stands up, “Where am I? Where the hell am I?” said Trump as he walked aimlessly across the stage.

Biden has exactly one more month in office before President-elect Trump is sworn in.
