A shocking incident took place at a cinema hall in Telangana on Thursday, December 5, after a man and his friends vandalized the cinema hall. Reportedly, the incident took place in Chennur town of Mancherial district after a man named Bajjuri Vinay lost his cool after the theater failed to screen Allu Arjun’s debut. Pushpa 2: Rule.

According to news agency ANI, the man allegedly damaged the glass windows of Srinivas Theatre, while trespassing into the theater premises to protest against the management of the theatre. Not only this, the man also allegedly threatened to kill the owner of the film, Rajamalla Goud, if the film starring Allu Arjun was not released. A complaint has now been lodged and the man has been registered with relevant departments.

This comes a day after another tragic incident took place during the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. Chaos ensued as huge crowds gathered to see the film’s star Allu Arjun, who attended the event along with music director Devi Sri Prasad. In the ensuing chaos, the main gate of the theater collapsed and a stampede occurred. While the 35-year-old woman lost her life, her 9-year-old son was seriously injured. Actor Allu Arjun, among others, was also named in the case.

Later, Mythri Movie Makers, the makers of Pushpa 2, also released a statement regarding the tragic incident. “We are extremely heartbroken by the tragic incident that occurred during last night’s screening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the little boy receiving treatment. “We are determined to stand by them in this difficult period and provide all possible support.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule was undoubtedly the most awaited movie of the year. It gets great response from the audience. The film has already earned Rs 175 crore on its opening day.
