Future AMD Radeon gaming GPU series will drop the Navi name, according to leak

One to mail Kepler_L2 on X (formerly Twitter) simply said they were “waiting for someone to leak UDNA’s real codename.” In a reply to the thread, a previous Kepler_L2 post was reposted, featuring an image of the constellation Sirius (Canis Major) including the super-bright star Sirius and a thinking emoji. Kepler_L2 then responded with the oft-used animated GIF of Joey from Friends touching and pointing at his head. We’ll take that as a yes.

AMD already has stated He said the new UDNA architecture will combine the company’s data center CDNA and gaming RDNA architectures into a single architecture, and it now looks like the GPUs will carry the Sirius codename.

But that’s not the only name change rumored. Previous leaks showed that: AMD is dropping the Radeon brand For this generation of GPUs.
