Shooting in Houston wounds man; Police are looking for 2 young people

HOUSTON – Houston police say the search for two teenagers is ongoing after a man was shot outside his home early Tuesday morning.

The shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the 6200 block of Gulfton Street on the city’s southwest side.

According to police, the man’s teenage sons were hanging out on the porch when they were approached by two other teenagers with whom they had trouble at school.

Police said the sons went into their apartment and their father came out. The father was shot in the stomach.

Police said two young men who were outside ran away. Authorities are trying to locate these people.
