AHSAA to evaluate new Super 7 locations

MONTGOMERY, Ala.(WSFA) – Afterwards Removing Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium from the championship rotationThe Alabama High School Athletic Association is currently scouting stadiums for new Super 7 locations.

The AHSAA said the change became necessary due to inevitable conflicts with the expanded College Football Playoff schedule.

On Friday, the AHSAA will conduct a Super 7 site visit in Montgomery to evaluate Alabama State University as a potential host for future championships.

They will also visit South Alabama on Monday to evaluate Hancock Whitney Stadium.
