Man, 58, arrested following ‘suspicious’ sudden death in Wolverhampton – police ‘in early stages of investigation’

The dead man was first found suffering from a heart attack on Newhampton Road East. Whitmore ReansAround 18.25 on Friday.

West Midlands Police said that despite the best efforts of its officers and paramedics, the man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.

Police said: “We are treating the death of a man whose body was found in Wolverhampton as suspicious. We have arrested a 58-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to assault.

“The man remains in custody as we continue our investigations to understand the exact circumstances of the incident. We are in the early stages of our investigation and would urge any witnesses or anyone with any information to please get in touch.”
