Businessman killed today in Saroornagar-Telangana due to financial disputes

Hyderabad: A businessman was killed by some people in Saroornagar due to financial dispute.

M Eshwar (38), a resident of New Hafeezpet, was having some financial disputes with Shanker, a real estate agent, for the last few months. Eshwar’s cousin Vijayan asked him to come to Karmanghat to resolve the issue with Shanker.

On October 31, Eshwar arrived at Karmanghat, where Shanker and Vijayan also arrived. The trio went to a bar and restaurant with some people and had drinks. However, the problem could not be resolved and Eshwar left the building.

“Eshwar was standing outside the bar when Shanker drove his car and hit Eshwar at high speed. As the man fell and tried to escape from there, Shanker drove the car again and drove towards Eshwar and ran over him,” Saroornagar Inspector V Saidi Reddy said.

Eshwar, who was injured in the incident, died on Friday, where he was treated at a private hospital. Saroornagar police have registered a case and are investigating.

The source said Eshwar was working as a constable in the Hyderabad police and senior police officials suspended him after he was found to be nurturing a gang of thieves.
