Three arrested for murder – Tribune

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old youth in Khuda Jassu. Rishab from Nayagaon was attacked with a knife by a group of attackers on November 1. A murder convict, he had recently been released from prison and was receiving life threats. The murder was a result of gang rivalry.

The police had registered a case at Sarangpur police station. During investigation, the suspects were Anna (26), from Jhampur, Mohali; Pankaj (25) of Sector 25 and Mithus (20) alias Nakul, resident of Sector 38 (West), were arrested.

Rishab was involved in a murder case filed at Nayagaon police station a few years ago. Sources said the victim’s associates had a grudge against Rishab.
