US sends warships as Iran prepares for new Israeli attack ‘on multiple fronts’

While the distribution took place on the eve of the US elections, speculation continues that the Iranian attack could come before or after the elections.

Earlier this month, the United States sent the THAAD air defense system to Israel along with 100 troops in anticipation of strong retaliation for Israel’s four-hour bombardment of Iran.

Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said at the time: “This action underscores the United States’ commitment to defending Israel and defending Americans in Israel against further Iranian ballistic missile attacks.”
