THE BEST SMGs in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Every year a new Call of Duty is coming out and every year an extremely powerful SMG comes out. To be fair to Black Ops 6, weapon balancing actually looks pretty good and neither weapon breaks the game and There are too many weapons in BO6.

assault rifles They are currently strong in BO6, but that doesn’t mean other weapon types can’t hold their own. latest patch changes It didn’t impact the meta at all, which shows just how good weapon balancing is in this game.

Call of Duty has always had two dominant weapon types that control the pace of the game and the meta better than any other. Assault rifles and SMGs. In general, assault rifles for those who like to play slowly, and SMGs for those who like to play fast.

There are 6 SMGs in Black Ops 6. Here’s a ranking of all the SMGs in Black Ops 6, from best to worst:

The Jackal PDW submachine gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Jackal PDW/Treyarch

Jackal PDW is an absolute powerhouse in Black Ops 6. Gameplay-wise, the VMP feels very similar to many of Treyarch’s best SMGs, like the MSMC and Saug.

It has a great fire rate, deals good damage, and has strong range for its weapon class. This weapon would absolutely melt people in the right hands.

The PP-919 SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

PP-919 / Treyarch

It might be a bit surprising to see this so high on this list, the PP-919 isn’t the typical type of SMG that tends to be great in Call of Duty. It has a high magazine size, low mobility and a lower fire rate compared to other SMG competitors.

The PP-919 is pretty strong at BO6 right now and can basically hold its own very well in any conflict against another SMG. It’s not as good as the PDW at fighting against ARs, but it’s still a strong option in the SMG class.

The KSV SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

KSV / Treyarch

The KSV is the strongest of the SMG class in Black Ops 6. It doesn’t have the best range, mobility, damage, stability, or really anything for that matter. But among all these, it has the best averages. He may not be the best at everything, but he is good at almost everything.

There are very few situations where a player can find himself in KSV and feel like he has no chance.

The C9 SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

C9/Treyarch

The C9 is the typical standard “MP5 that isn’t technically an MP5” gun that many FPS games have. This is a good and solid option. It can kill quickly, has decent recoil, and decent range.

Unlike the others, this C9 is actually really good at staying close to the point. It can control space and lock down certain areas in and around targets nicely.

Tanto .22 SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Tanto .22 / Treyarch

The Tanto .22 comes in fifth place with an asterisk because of how weird it is. It has the best range of all SMGs, hits the hardest of all SMGs, and has by far the slowest fire rate.

This weapon is basically not an SMG. That being said, this weapon is quite powerful right now. He was seen consistently scoring 3-shot kills without needing a headshot. He packs a really hard punch.

No matter how hard it hits, it doesn’t actually do what SMGs are supposed to do well. This isn’t the best option for keeping up with players and interacting closely. Not the best option for players who want to play as fast as possible.

On its own, it’s probably the best gun on this list, but as an SMG, it doesn’t do the things most people using an SMG would want to do.

The Compact 92 SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Compact 92 / Treyarch

The Compact 92 has the fastest fire rate and lowest range in its SMG class. The great SMGs in Call of Duty excel in extremely close-range combat, but they also have good range.

The Ak 74u in Cold War can kill ARs from anywhere on the map. VMP can easily recover an AR from head failure. The MP40 in Vanguard was an absolute terror to fight regardless of distance with the right player using it. Jackal PDW in BO6 is getting close to reaching that level. The compact 92 does not have this.

This weapon is terrifying up close, but dies as soon as the player is caught in an inconvenient spot.
