Grand jury indicts two women accused of Independence McDonald’s attack

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Cuyahoga County Grand Jury has indicted two women accused of assaulting another woman at an Independence McDonald’s.

Tori Hawkins and Carlyn Lopez have been charged with aggravated assault and are due in court on November 13.

According to Independence police, Hawkins and Lopez attacked Tiffany Bulanda at the McDonald’s in the 6200 block of Brecksville Rd. on Oct. 16 just before 1 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found Bulanda lying on the ground, screaming that he was in pain and could not feel his leg.

Bulanda, of Garfield Heights, told 19 News she was attacked following a misunderstanding regarding one of her children.

McDonald’s security camera footage captures the encounter and shows a McDonald’s employee trying to keep the women apart.

Hawkins and Lopez left the McDonald’s before police arrived, but officers were able to track them down.
