22-year-old man died 6 days after a shooting that injured 4 people in Montgomery

A Montgomery man has died nearly a week after he was injured in a shooting that also injured four people.

Police identified the victim Tuesday as Eldren Wright. He was 22 years old.

Montgomery police were notified on Wednesday, October 23, around 6:15 p.m. It was stated that five victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive. No additional details were released.

Three men and two teenagers were injured. Wright and one of the teens suffered life-threatening injuries.

It was learned that the other 3 injured people had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman said Wright died Tuesday.

No arrests were made.
