Ardmore police release body camera footage of officer involved in shooting

ARDMORE, Oklahoma (KXII) – The Ardmore Police Department has released body camera footage of the moments leading up to the incident. a police officer was involved in the shooting Thursday at a gas station.

The shooting occurred during a traffic stop at the Tiger Mart on Veteran’s Boulevard.

Police said Joshua Estrada gave false information about his identity due to an outstanding arrest warrant, then told the officer, “I have a gun, I’m going to use it,” and then threw something out the window.

Meanwhile, the police fired several shots.

Estrada was taken to Extraordinary General Hospital in Ardmore, where he was treated and released. was later arrested by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for making a terroristic threat.
