Man hit on head with iron bar in Pune's Kothrud area, 2 people booked

A 50-year-old man from Kothrud was attacked with an iron rod after arguing with two men about taking a locker in an elevator. Police are investigating.

PUNE A fifty-year-old resident of Kothrud lodged a police complaint against two unidentified persons; One of these people violently attacked him with an iron bar after he objected to them taking the locker in the society elevator.

The incident took place on October 25 at the parking lot of Kapadipuram Society building F in Kothrud. The first information report (FIR) was filed on October 26.

The victim, identified as Shailesh Mohan Wadekar, was seriously injured in the incident.

According to the police, a verbal duel took place between the suspect and then the suspect attacked him.

The case was filed against two persons under sections 118 (1), 115 (2), 352 and 3(5) of the BNS. Police said no arrests have been made so far.
