Tommy Tedesco is known for his 100th birthday.

The 68th Pagano Family Reunion was held in July at Willow Creek Winery. More than 100 family members attended the meeting, coming from various parts of New York as well as Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

The festivities began with a lavish welcome, followed by prayers and invocations by Paul Carlson. Food was served at Sunset Bay Restaurant at 13:00.

The Caine family kept the children entertained with games, prizes and a pinata.

The competitive horseshoe tournament saw a new champion team consisting of Chris Pagano and Jon Bonner. The second place winning team was Steve Pagano and Bob George. The horseshoe tournament was organized by Bruce Valvo.

Appreciation awards were given to various participants. But the highlight was the recognition of the oldest male in attendance, Tom Tedesco, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday! Those in attendance serenaded him with a birthday song, and then everyone enjoyed birthday cake to celebrate him.

All participants had a great time together, appreciating the moments they spent with their families from near and far. Thank you to everyone who planned, helped and attended this year’s meetup; We especially thank Bev Pagano, Linda Williams, and Ruth Dolce.

Committee members for next year’s reunion will be Joe, Kathy and Lauren Dolce, Mike and Jenn Pagano, Marianne and Ron Bowers and family, Angelo and Karen Pagano, Steve and Kathy Pagano, Bruce Valvo and Kristine and Mike Caine.
