Fans shared their reactions to the UFC 308 co-main event between Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev.

Whittaker and Chimaev shared the Octagon in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. This was a very important middleweight bout, as the winner would likely secure a future 185-pound title opportunity.

In the opening round, Chimaev quickly defeated Whittaker. His opponent clung to him as the former middleweight champion tried to fight back. Chimaev then locked in a face arm lock, forcing Whittaker to immediately tap out.

One thing’s for sure, UFC CEO Dana White was impressed with “Borz’s” performance. He called Chimaev immediately after the fight, and one has to think that a possible title fight was discussed.
