Vikrant Massey recently met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar after it was reported that he would be essaying his role in an upcoming thriller. The actor was also joined by Aanand L Rai and others.

Vikrant Massey recently made headlines with the news that he is all set to portray Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in this international thriller inspired by the life of the spiritual leader. Amid these reports, the actor met the spiritual leader and photos of his visit went viral on social media.

Mahaveer Jain shared a series of photos on his Instagram account of Vikrant Massey meeting Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Massey is seen wearing a black shirt which he paired with pastel green trousers. He is seen sitting on the floor talking to the leader who is sitting on the couch. Along with Massey, the pictures also show the other team behind the project, including filmmaker Aanand L Rai. Sharing the photo, Jain wrote, “Only the heart can speak or hear what is real.”

Not much is known about the unnamed project for now. However, reports indicate that the project may revolve around Shankar’s role in resolving the 52-year civil war in Colombia. India Today quoted a source close to the production house as saying, “The film will be made in English and Spanish and will appeal to a global audience; It will be dubbed in various international and Indian languages. It focuses on how one of the world’s greatest civil conflicts was resolved by Ravi Shankar with the help of ancient Indian wisdom. The supporting cast and crew will feature mostly acclaimed and Academy Award winners from Los Angeles, the United States and Colombia. Moreover, famous filmmakers will bring this big-budget, ambitious film to the audience in different countries.”

On the work front, Massey was last seen in Aditya Nimbalkar’s Sector 36. He was also seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba alongside Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal. He also played the lead role in Devang Shashin Bhavsar’s Blackout. Currently preparing for the release of the Sabarmati Report.
