Taylor Swift said Diddy was among her dream prom dates in resurfaced 2011 interview: 'He was always so nice to me'

Taylor Swift listed Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as one of her dream prom dates in a resurfaced interview in 2011, when she was just 21 years old.

A fan posted the old clip on TikTok this week, following Diddy’s downfall over allegations that he was involved in crimes such as rape and sexual assault.

Diddy was indicted on charges including sex trafficking in September, months after the video shooting It was revealed that he violently attacked his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

In the clip Swift was in Rachael Ray from 2011; where various pictures of ‘music icons’ were laid out in front of him and he had to choose from them and answer questions such as: ‘Whose wardrobe would you most like to borrow at this table? ‘

When asked which stars she would go to prom with, Swift chose a ‘group’ of people; Among them was Diddy, who he said “was always very nice to me.”

During his famous challenge nicknamed ‘Quick Decision’, Ray asked: ‘Who would you take to the prom?’ and Swift replied: ‘That would be a band, and it would be a really fun band.’

He then gathered together photos of Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow, Justin Timberlake and Diddy and proudly held them up.

While Swift was in the process of selecting photos — but before choosing Diddy — Ray joked that the Teenage Dream singer was “going on an awkward prom date.”

When Swift held up all the photos, Ray shouted: ‘No way! Check it out! It’s a group! So why, why this amazing group of people?’

Swift responded by offering individual praise for each of her picks, saying when she got to Diddy: ‘Diddy’s always been really nice to me.’

‘He’s a gentleman, isn’t he? ‘He’s such a nice gentleman,’ Ray said, and Swift added: ‘I really – it would be so much fun to be in the prom band.’

A clip of the exchange surfaced on TikTok this week, sparking a flurry of backlash as viewers observed that the footage had ‘not aged well’ or ‘aged like milk’.

One TikTok user wrote ‘Oopsie’ while another noted: ‘As millennials, we respected these people. We didn’t know what was really going on. It’s like being fearless/talk now Taylor. He likes 19-21 here.’

Diddy was arrested last month on federal charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

He is awaiting trial at the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and R Kelly were previously held.

“He’s not actually on suicide watch, but I have an inside source tell me that he has someone who comes to visit him several times a day, you know, to make sure he’s okay,” Levine noted on the podcast.

‘My sources tell me (Diddy) takes extra showers a week,’ he claimed. I don’t know how many there are. It probably changes. They give them extra privileges.’
