Two men sentenced to state prison in home invasion robbery while posing as deputies

Police said a third man was never identified and none of the stolen firearms were ever recovered.

A 19-year-old and a 22-year-old will be sent to state prison for up to 10 years For their role in a home invasion robbery in Hilltown Township last year in which they impersonated sheriff’s deputies.

Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19, of Glenside, pleaded guilty to robbery, theft, conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of theft by unlawful taking, according to court records.

Both were sentenced by Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr to five to 10 years in prison for the robbery charge and three to six years in prison for the burglary.

A third man was never identified and the stolen firearms were never recovered, police said.

“I am proud of the excellent work done on this case,” said Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn. “Fortunately, home invasion robberies are extremely rare in Bucks County. But when they do occur, law enforcement will devote countless resources to identifying and apprehending the perpetrators, and we will prosecute to the fullest extent.”

On May 25, 2023, Hilltown Township Police were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Reliance Place in the Green Meadows area for a report of a home invasion robbery, authorities said.

During the investigation, police determined that three men arrived at the scene in a rented vehicle and were dressed as sheriff’s deputies. The men wore masks and claimed they were with the Sheriff’s Department and had a search warrant.

Authorities said armed men forced their way into the home. The men zip tied the victim and carried him to another part of the house.

Two of the men then stole two firearms, a large amount of marijuana, $4,000 in cash and various clothing items, police said.

The three men fled the home in a white Ford Explorer and the victim was able to call for help. According to Schorn, law enforcement was able to identify two of the three men as Still and Fort.
