Four men and a woman were arrested by the Esplanade Police in Chennai for drug smuggling. Police arrested the five people following a security check on Thursday evening.

Police found two of the men in possession of methamphetamine, commonly known as methamphetamine or crystal meth, which led to their arrest.

The raid took place at a vehicle checkpoint near Mannadi on Thursday. The police carried out a security check based on confidential information and stopped the two people on the motorcycle.
