Selena Gomez has shut down body-shaming comments after some social media users claimed she appeared to be ‘hiding her stomach’ on the red carpet recently.

The 32-year-old Murders in the Building star hit back at criticism about her appearance after coming across a since-deleted TikTok video analyzing how she posed.

Responding to cruel comments about her appearance, the actress reminded the world that she has lupus and suffers from various health issues that affect her weight.

‘This makes me sick,’ he wrote. ‘I have SEBO in my small intestine. It’s flaring up.’

He continued: ‘I don’t care if I don’t look like a stick figure.’

The singer completed his comment with the following words: ‘I don’t have that body. End of story.’

SIBO refers to bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine, which occurs when the “passage of food and waste products through the digestive tract” slows and “creates a breeding ground for bacteria.” Mayo Clinic.

Some fans thought Selena’s red dress meant she voted for Donald Trump because red is traditionally the color of the Republican Party.

But Selena is an outspoken Democrat and has been highly critical of Trump’s campaign, especially after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” at a rally at Madison Square Garden on October 27.

Selena, who is Mexican-American, has since said she “strongly disagrees with any of the comments that were made,” referring to the disparaging comments the disgraced comedian made towards the candidate.

‘I definitely want to be there for my people,’ he added.
