Chicago shooting: Darius Watson shot to death on 83rd Street in Wrightwood, police say

CHICAGO (Wales) — A man who was shot Sunday has died, police said.

According to Chicago police, the attack happened in the 2800 block of W. 83rd Street around 12:40 p.m.

Police said a witness found a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was treated by Chicago firefighters; but the man died.

The medical examiner later identified the man as Darius Watson of Chicago.

There is no one in custody. Chicago Precinct One Detectives are investigating.
