Grand Forks Fire Department Responds to Gas Line Leak

(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Fire Department responded to 5600 S Washington St for a gas leak on Saturday.

The natural gas line was cut by a contractor working in the area.

Grand Forks Fire Department, 5600 S Washington St. worked with Grand Forks Police, Altru Ambulance and Xcel Energy to reduce gas leaks in the area.

After the teams completed their work, traffic in the region was reopened to normal conditions.

The Grand Forks Fire Department would like to remind the public to report any natural gas leaks by calling 911.
